This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit huntmelinks.com or contact us. It describes what this site actually does, not what a site of this kind might do.

What we collect

There is no contact form, newsletter sign-up or account registration on this site, so we collect nothing from you simply by your browsing it.

If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to send: your name, your email address, and the content of your message. We use it to answer you and to carry out any work that follows.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which record IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested. These are generated automatically for security and reliability, and we do not use them to identify individuals.

Cookies

The site sets functional cookies used by WordPress and by our caching layer. If you are not signed in to the site as an administrator, these do not identify you.

Where we publish affiliate links, following one may set a cookie belonging to the advertiser or their affiliate network so that a resulting sale can be credited to us. That cookie is set and read by them, under their own privacy policy, not ours. Our affiliate disclosure explains the arrangement.

Analytics and advertising

We do not currently run third-party analytics, advertising pixels or session-recording tools on this site. If we add any, this page will be updated before they go live.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your information and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. It reaches other parties only where it must: our hosting provider, which stores the site and its logs; our email provider, which carries messages you send us; and affiliate networks, which receive referral data about transactions, not about you personally. We also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Correspondence is kept while there is a live enquiry or an ongoing relationship, and then for as long as we need it for tax and legal record-keeping. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host and then overwritten. Ask us to delete your correspondence and we will, unless we are obliged to keep it.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area you have these rights under the GDPR, and you may complain to your national data protection authority. Residents of several US states, including California, have comparable rights. Write to support@huntmelinks.com and we will respond.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page. Material changes to what we collect will be described here rather than made quietly.
